| Engine 11-1 is a 1999 Ferrara Fire Apparatus with a custom Spartan Raised Roof Cab. It has a pump capacity of 1250 gpm and carries 1000 gallons of water. Engine 11-1 is equipped with a Hale Foam Pro System which includes a 30 gallon Class "A" Foam Tank. Braking is assisted by the TELMA Retarder, an electromagnetic braking assist device. Engine 11-1 is all aluminum. A 15,000 watt PTO driven "AMPS" Generator supplies the truck with 120 volt electrical power. The deck gun is outfitted with a Task Force Tips "Extend-A-Gun" which allows the Master Stream to be elevated 24" above its mount. There is also a camera system that allows the driver to see the back of the truck and down the right side of the truck where there has traditionally been a large blind spot. A 5 1/2" monitor is mounted in the cab for the driver. | |
